DART MetalSonic Multi-Purpose Cutting Blade – 115mm x 20T x 22.2mm Bore
DART MetalSonic Blades represent a new generation of hybrid cutting technology, designed to tackle today’s wide range of construction and manufacturing materials with a single blade. Whether cutting through steel cladding, aluminium extrusions, rigid plastics, MDF, laminates, or reclaimed timber, MetalSonic delivers fast, clean, and reliable results.
At the core of the design is the LOK tooth system, which locks tungsten carbide tips securely into the saw body. This prevents tooth loss and ensures durability when cutting through mixed and abrasive materials — such as coolroom panels, composites, and wood with embedded nails. Combined with a hardened steel plate, expansion slots, and noise reduction features, MetalSonic blades provide unmatched stability, safety, and versatility for professional use.

BEST APPLICATIONS:
Metal: Cuts a wide range of metal sections and cladding materials with minimal sparks
Aluminium: Produces super-clean cuts in all aluminium sections
Plastics: Delivers excellent results in rigid plastic sections
Wood: Provides clean cuts in wood, laminates, particleboard, and MDF
Coolroom Panels: Cuts steel cladding and foam substrate in a single pass
Reclaimed Wood: Effective for cutting timber with embedded nails (not loose or hardened nails)
DRILLING BEST PRACTICE:
Always secure the workpiece firmly to reduce vibration
Allow the blade to reach full RPM before starting the cut
Maintain steady, moderate feed pressure — do not force the blade
Check that saw guards and angle attachments are fitted correctly
Use reducing rings if required for a precise bore fit
